GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards awareness. Guiding snorkeling excursions, marine biology activities and providing snorkeling lessons for the guests at the resort as and when required. Responsible for conducting PADI courses for guests with different levels of experience and guide dive trips. Upselling and suggestive booking for dive courses, excursions and activities available as per Velaa service standards. Maintain a clean and orderly work area and promote a safe working environment. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 years' experience as an instructor at a 5-star luxury hotel/resort. Must be available from 15th October 2026 – 15th February 2027. Minimum PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or Higher. Emergency First Response Instructor, and Nitrox Instructor, other specialties will be an advantage. Knowledge of SCUBA PRO Equipment Care and Maintenance & the knowledge of Compressor handling. Excellent command of written & spoken English fluency in other languages will be an advantage. Good knowledge of computing and MS office software. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and experience in customer service. Pleasant personality with excellent grooming. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
