GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa's culture and service standards and reflects the values of Velaa Private Island. Teach and play Tennis and Padel Tennis with our guests and responsible to provide basic knowledge in squash, badminton, volleyball, wall climbing and basketball. Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain an excellent standard of customer service. Organize Tennis & Padel Tennis sessions that cater for all ages of guests, including group coaching, free play, social tennis, and private lessons. Take personal responsibility for the maintenance and repair of Velaa sports equipment and sporting sites and ensure the satisfactory appearance of all sports facilities to meet the guest expectations. Ensure that sports supplies are well monitored and stocked. Be flexible in the job role and willing to assist in all other duties relating to land sports. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably at a five-star property. Must be available from 01st October 2026 until 31st March 2027. Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure. Excellent command of written & spoken English, fluency in other languages will be an advantage. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills & confident to anticipate and manage processes. Excellent leadership skills and experience in team development. Effective interpersonal and communication skills Flexible with duty hours & scope, and a team player. Knowledgeable in basic first aid and confident in attending to minor sports injuries.
