GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Demonstrate a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards awareness . • Guiding snorkeling excursions, marine biology activities and providing snorkeling lessons for the guests at the resort as and when required . • Responsible for conducting PADI courses for guests with different levels of experience and guide dive trips . • Upselling and suggestive booking for dive courses, excursions and activities available as per Velaa service standards . • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and promote a safe working environment . SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 3 years' experience as an instructor at a 5- star luxury hotel/resort . • Must be available from 15th October 2026 – 15th February 2027 . • Minimum PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or Higher . • Emergency First Response Instructor, and Nitrox Instructor, other specialties will be an advantage . • Knowledge of SCUBA PRO Equipment Care and Maintenance & the knowledge of Compressor handling . • Excellent command of written & spoken English fluency in other languages will be an advantage . • Good knowledge of computing and MS office software . • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and experience in customer service . • Pleasant personality with excellent grooming . • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times .
