SHORT TERM - TENNIS COACH GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards and reflects the values of Velaa Private Island . • Teach and play Tennis and Padel Tennis with our guests and responsible to provide basic knowledge in squash, badminton, volleyball, wall climbing and basketball . • Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain an excellent standard of customer service . • Organize Tennis & Padel Tennis sessions that cater for all ages of guests, including group coaching, free play, social tennis, and private lessons . • Take personal responsibility for the maintenance and repair of Velaa sports equipment and sporting sites and ensure the satisfactory appearance of all sports facilities to meet the guest expectations . • Ensure that sports supplies are well monitored and stocked . • Be flexible in the job role and willing to assist in all other duties relating to land sports . SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably at a five - star property . • Must be available from 01st October 2026 until 31st March 2027 . • Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure . • Excellent command of written & spoken English, fluency in other languages will be an advantage . • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills & confident to anticipate and manage processes . • Excellent leadership skills and experience in team development . • Effective interpersonal and communication skills • Flexible with duty hours & scope, and a team player . • Knowledgeable in basic first aid and confident in attending to minor sports injuries .
