Crown & Champa Resorts is seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to lead the Accounting Department. This role oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance while managing and developing a strong finance team. Tasks and responsibilities • Support the Financial Controller in overseeing accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. • Assume full Financial Controller duties in their absence. • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Monitor cash flow, costs, revenues, payroll, inventories, and fixed assets. • Ensure strong internal controls, audits, and compliance with policies and regulations. • Work with department heads on financial analysis and performance improvement • Manage tax compliance, statutory requirements, and external audits. • Maintain financial systems integrity and lead, train, and develop the finance team. Qualifications & experience • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional qualification preferred). • 3-5 years experience in a similar role, ideally in hospitality or resorts. • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and audits. • Proficient in accounting systems with strong analytical skills. • Excellent communication, leadership, and ability to work independently. • Comfortable managing department head responsibilities in a remote island environment.
