Job description / Role Oversee the daily operations of our award-winning restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards and operational excellence at all times. Place both guest and Heartist experience at the centre of every decision by leading through example, fostering an engaging, supportive and empowering work environment. Partner closely with the assistant restaurant general manager and bar manager to develop and implement initiatives, promotions and incentives that enhance guest satisfaction, drive team engagement and maximize revenue. Maintain a strong understanding of the restaurant's reservation, booking and guest profiling systems to optimize guest experiences and commercial performance. Build strong collaboration between the front of house and back of house teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient service delivery. Proactively gather guest feedback, identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans to continuously elevate the dining experience. Drive service excellence by planning and delivering regular training sessions, coaching, performance feedback and daily briefings, ensuring all restaurant and bar team members consistently uphold brand standards. Inspire, motivate and develop the team to achieve business objectives while creating a positive and high-performing workplace culture. Qualifications A track record of leading large teams in restaurants, kitchens and bars; you’re a natural at inspiring trust and bringing others along on a journey. 2+ years’ experience in a similar restaurant management role in a busy, bustling environment. Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, juggling many things at once. Passion for hospitality – you’re all about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues. You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way. You’re a great communicator – both verbally and written – and a great listener. Fluent in English and French is strongly preferred.
