Consistently offer a professional, engaging and friendly service.Ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms, colleague service areas, and corridors while adhering to hotel standards.Making beds, changing sheets and towels.Cleaning washroom facilities including toilets, bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, floors, bathroom fixtures, and others as assigned.Vacuuming floors, draperies, and upholstered furniture.Dusting of furniture and fixtures.Stock guest room amenities.Removal and sorting of linen, garbage, and recycling.Assist guests with concerns and requests in a timely manner.Placing furniture to its original position and being attentive to the guests’ belongings by pairing shoes, folding clothes, and ensuring that all other personal belongings are cared for.Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards.Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives.Report all concerns related to engineering/maintenance, health and safety, security, or suspicious circumstances (including smells, sights, and sounds).Responsible for the assistance in maintaining a clean and organized backspace and housekeeping cart.All other duties as assigned. Your experience and skillset includes: Warm and caring personality. Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming. Excellent organizational skills and time management. Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision. No formal education or experience required. Prior cleaning experience an asset. Physically fit as you will be standing and walking throughout the shift. Ability to work well under pressure. Able to bend and kneel with comfort. Housekeeping is a very physically demanding position. Duties include repetitive bending, pulling, carrying, high lifting, and heavy pushing (up to 50 lbs.).
