The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and back-of-house areas, ensuring all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored according to hotel standards. • Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment. • Keep kitchen, dishwashing area, and back-of-house areas clean and organized. • Dispose of waste properly and maintain hygiene standards. • Support kitchen team with basic cleaning and setup tasks when needed. • Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. • Report any damaged equipment or safety issues to supervisor. • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards. • Support chefs and kitchen team with basic operational tasks when needed. • Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Требования
• Previous experience as a steward or in a kitchen/cleaning role is an advantage. • Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety standards. • Team player with a positive and cooperative attitude. • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours and handle heavy loads. • Good communication and willingness to learn. • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
