JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Barman to lead our bar operations and deliver exceptional beverage experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cocktails, beverages, service standards, stock control, and team leadership. The Head Barman will ensure the highest standards of quality, presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction while managing and developing the bar team.. KEY RESONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: • Lead, supervise, and motivate the bar team to deliver excellent service. • Ensure all beverages and cocktails are prepared and presented according to approved recipes and standards. • Maintain consistent quality, taste, presentation, and portion control. • Create and recommend new cocktails and beverage offerings when required. • Monitor bar stock, conduct regular inventory, and minimize wastage. • Ensure proper ordering, storage, and handling of all beverages and bar supplies. • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in all bar areas. • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards. • Train and coach bartenders on cocktail preparation, service standards, product knowledge, and upselling. • Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and ensure guest satisfaction. • Monitor sales and promote upselling of beverages and premium products. • Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing during operations. • Ensure all bar equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance issues promptly. • Monitor costs, control beverage consumption, and support efforts to achieve departmental targets.
