Here's what you'll do during a typical day: • Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival. • Manage the restaurant entrance and ensure guests receive a positive first impression. • Handle guest reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements efficiently. • Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest preferences, and special requests. • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus. • Coordinate with the service team regarding table availability and guest requirements. • Monitor guest flow and ensure smooth seating during busy periods. • Provide information about menu items, promotions, restaurant facilities, and hotel services when required. • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary. • Ensure VIP guests, repeat guests, and special occasions are recognized and attended to. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception/hostess area. • Assist the service team during peak periods to ensure excellent guest experience. • Follow all hotel/restaurant standards, policies, and hygiene requirements.
