Noku Maldives by Vignette Collection is seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the Housekeeping Department. This role is responsible for assisting in the daily housekeeping operations, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will support and guide the housekeeping team, oversee quality standards, coordinate operational requirements, and contribute to efficient departmental performance in a luxury resort environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Executive Housekeeper in developing and implementing effective housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness, comfort, and aesthetic appeal in guest rooms and public areas. Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including room and laundry attendants, and public area cleaners, to ensure efficient and effective performance. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential pest infestations, assess the effectiveness of pest control measures, and take necessary corrective actions. Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to address guest requests, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless guest experience. Monitor and maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and temperature logs to demonstrate adherence to HACCP standards. Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed in areas where food handling or storage occurs. Requirements: Proven experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a luxury resort or hotel. Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, including cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals. Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and other departments. Proficient in using computer software for inventory management, scheduling, and reporting. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in housekeeping. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
