As the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage serving Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, you will support the overall management of all Food & Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service standards and memorable guest experiences across all outlets. Working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, you will oversee daily operations, maintain brand standards, and drive operational excellence. The role involves leading, coaching, and developing team members to foster a positive and high-performing work environment. You will monitor financial performance, control costs, maximize revenue opportunities, and ensure operations remain within approved budgets and company guidelines. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to achieving departmental goals, profitability targets, and overall business success

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow: • Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service • Extensive Food & Beverage Experience within a luxury setting. • Excellent communication skills, effective management, leadership, organizational and communications skills • Ability to assemble, analyze, understand integrated spread sheets and complex technical information. • Strong presentations skills • Prioritization skills necessary to meet deadlines It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: • Degree in relevant area, ideally bachelor's degree in hospitality management • Luxury resort experience Specifically, as the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage for Waldorf Astoria Maldives you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards: • In conjunction with the Director of F&B, manage all Food and Beverage Outlet operations • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service • Ensure compliance of brand standards • Recruit, manage, train and develop the Food and Beverage team • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner • Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food, Liquor Costs and Payroll • Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures • Develop menus with other members of Food and Beverage team • Incentivize team members to maximize sales and revenue • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
