We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Executive - French Speaker to join our boutique team at a luxury resort in the Maldives. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about retail, enjoys delivering exceptional guest experiences, and thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment. You will be responsible for creating memorable shopping experiences for international guests in one of the world's most beautiful destinations, while representing a carefully curated collection of resort wear, luxury accessories, jewellery, gifts, local handicrafts, and premium lifestyle products. Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding, personalised customer service and create memorable shopping experiences. Welcome guests and provide knowledgeable product recommendations tailored to their preferences. Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective selling and upselling techniques. Process sales transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and ensure the boutique is clean, organized, and fully stocked. Assist with stock receiving, inventory control, replenishment, and periodic stock takes. Handle guest enquiries, exchanges, and feedback professionally and efficiently. Follow company procedures for cash handling, stock security, and loss prevention. Work collaboratively with resort partners and colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experience. Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience in luxury retail, boutique sales, hospitality, or customer service is preferred. Previous work experience in Maldives is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for retail, fashion, and premium customer service. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and build rapport with guests. Experience using POS systems and basic computer applications such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Professional appearance with excellent attention to detail. Fluency in spoken and written English and French are mandatory; additional languages (Russian, Mandarin, Arabic) will be an advantage. Ability to live and work on a remote island and adapt to a multicultural environment. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a resort environment.
