We are looking for an Safety & Security Manager for Soneva Jani Resort. Requirements and Skills: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Safety & Security leadership role within a luxury resort or five-star hotel environment. Degree or professional qualification in Security Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of Maldivian laws and regulations, fire life safety systems, emergency response procedures, and health & safety standards. Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and risk assessments. Ability to lead, train, motivate, and develop a multicultural security team while maintaining high service standards. Proven experience in incident management, investigations, crisis response, and emergency preparedness. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all departments and engage with guests professionally. Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and security reporting systems. Valid First Aid, CPR, Fire Safety, and/or relevant security certifications will be an added advantage. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and emergency call-outs when required. High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to delivering a safe and secure environment for hosts and guests. Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage. Passionate about luxury hospitality, sustainability, and creating exceptional guest and host experiences while maintaining the highest safety standards.
