Key Competencies: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury resort or hotel. Completed a WSET Level 2 in wines or a recognized wine qualification is a must. Must possess broad knowledge in wines, spirits, food pairing and food combinations. Have a thorough understanding on the production of wine, sake & distilled spirits categories. Feel passion and commitment to delivering exceptional levels of guest service. Excellent communication skills, capable of conversing spontaneously in English and able to relate and interact with people of various nationalities. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Familiar with LQA/Forbes standards and HACCP standards is an advantage.
