JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a skilled and reliable Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, ensuring all machines operate safely and efficiently. KEY RESONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system faults. Maintain dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, flatwork ironers, steam equipment, presses, and other laundry machinery. Maintain kitchen equipment including ovens, combi ovens, fryers, grills, mixers, and exhaust systems. Perform routine inspections and servicing to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete assigned work orders. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company procedures. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests. Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical, Mechanical or a related engineering field. Minimum 3 years of experience in maintaining commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems. Experience with commercial brands such as Electrolux, Renzacci, IMESA, Primus, or similar equipment is an advantage. Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Good communication and teamwork skills. Maldives Resort or hotel experience will be an added advantage.
