Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, gas, and steam-related faults and carry out timely repairs. Maintain equipment such as ovens, ranges, fryers, dishwashers, refrigeration units, washing machines, dryers, ironing equipment, and presses. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and minimise equipment downtime. Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair logs. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for specialised repairs and servicing when required. Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and tools. Ensure compliance with health, safety, HACCP, and engineering standards. Requirements Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or a related engineering field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience maintaining commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort. Strong knowledge of kitchen appliances, laundry machinery, refrigeration systems, and preventive maintenance practices. Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, gas, and steam-operated equipment. Good understanding of workplace safety procedures and HACCP requirements.
