All inclusive collection properties is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented painter to join our maintenance team. The painter will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, stains, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces to maintain and enhance the aesthetic quality of the property. This role requires a professional with experience in painting and maintenance, ensuring high standards of workmanship and attention to detail while maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Key responsibilities: Surface preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks. Ensure all surfaces are properly primed before applying the finish. Painting & finishing: Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and other structures. Ensure uniform coverage and a smooth finish. Color mixing: Mix paints and stains to achieve the required color and consistency. Ensure proper application techniques for long-lasting results. Maintenance & repairs: Assist in minor maintenance and repairs of surfaces before painting, including drywall repairs, wood sanding, and other related tasks. Safety & cleanliness: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the work environment is clean and organized. Use protective gear such as gloves, masks, and goggles when necessary. Equipment maintenance: Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other related items. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure that all painting tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Time management: Manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring timely completion of painting jobs as scheduled. Quality control: Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring it meets the required standards and addresses any imperfections. Sustainability: Follow environmentally friendly practices by minimizing paint waste, using eco-friendly products when possible, and properly disposing of paint containers and other materials.
