Essential functions include responding to all inquiries in a highly professional and personalized manner, offering suitable room types and curating guest experiences, answering internal and external calls as per brand standard and FORBES, knowing and describing booking terms and policies, processing reservation requests with quality, handling modifications or cancellations, building and maintaining relationships with partners and repeat customers, performing quality checks on arrivals and reservations, upselling higher room types, reviewing no-shows and late cancellations, handling incoming emails related to reservations promptly, maintaining up-to-date knowledge about promotions and hotel offerings, record keeping of reservation correspondence, following up on payments for prepayments, resolving guest issues and acting as point of contact, working closely with the commercial team, handling group reservations (if applicable), understanding package elements and distributions, and collaborating with other departments. Supportive functions may include assisting with administrative duties, preparing reports, and attending training and meetings. Requirements include the ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, assess, read, and accurately input information using a computer system, and effectively deal with internal and external customers with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
