As a stewarding supervisor, you’re not just supervising daily back of house operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Supervise stewarding operations: Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across all kitchen support areas Lead stewarding team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment Oversee inventory and ordering: Monitor stock levels of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and supplies, and place orders to meet business needs for events and daily operations Control stock and costs: Perform regular stock takes, identify loss patterns, and enforce measures to minimize waste while maintaining par levels Oversee purchasing and invoicing: Raise purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality products within budget Support cross-department collaboration: Work closely with finance, events, and other teams to support seamless operations and maintain strong working relationships Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing Participate in inspections: In Dubai municipality food safety and health & safety inspections HACCP: Ensure certification, re-certification and surveillance audits Food safety spot check: Able to conduct daily routine food safety, health and safety, sustainability and QA related inspections and spot checks What it takes to make the stay At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of hospitality Acting with integrity and always doing the right thing Inspiring others through leadership A belief that teamwork drives the best outcomes A sense of ownership and accountability A focus on the now, bringing urgency and discipline to every moment, knowing it can make a lasting impact How we’ll help you thrive At Hilton, the hospitality we’re known for doesn’t end with our guests.
